I've been banging around online since the late 1990s and cut my HTML teeth on geocities.com. Angelfire was for uncool losers, you see. I've been on myspace, blogspot, livejournal, and a bunch of forums that haven't existed in years. I still have my ICQ number. I bailed on twitter. I've kept up a self-hosted blog for over twenty years. I'm fated to turn to dust and blow away any minute now.

This is a site that collects my fanfic. I've been writing fanfic for decades, and creating fan art, but haven't really shared it until recently. I regret not doing so sooner.

I'm still doing it under a super fake name, though... although some friends figured out who I am immediately.

Being Perceived has its drawbacks, but also its strengths.

The main fandoms I'm active in are Chronicles of Amber by Roger Zelazny and Time of Iron by Sara Rees Brennan. I'm extremely focused on Merlin/Merle Corey from the Amber novels. Once I've figured out a reasonable way of hosting images I'll toss up a bunch of the art I've done.

In addition to fanfic about Amber I'm also working on an analysis of the novels and short stories, which you can find here which, yes, links my real name to my fannish name. I also write essays about Mary Stewart's Merlin (and Mordred) novels. You cannot get me to shut up about Star Wars, either.

I used to do book reviews but I petered out.

I'm bipolar and have spurts of energy and times when I'm especially obsessed about things. I tend to be more productive in those stretches, then get burnt out.I mean, there's some things that I am always obsessed about but sometimes it's inescapable. For everyone. Including me.
